Operating Instructions

1. Setting Passwords

  • The lock supports passwords of 4-7 digits.
  • Passwords can be entered in any order. For example, if your password is '1234', pressing '4321' will also unlock the door. This is a design feature.
  • Refer to the detailed instructions included with your product for specific steps on how to set or change the password for both the internal and external keypads.

2. Double-Sided Keypad Operation

This lock features keypads on both the exterior and interior sides. This means a password is required to unlock the door from both directions. This is particularly useful for preventing young children from opening the door unsupervised.

4. Normal Open Mode

To activate the Normal Open Mode, follow the instructions provided in your product's specific guide. When this mode is active, the door lock functions as a standard handle, allowing free entry and exit without a password. This is convenient for periods of high traffic or when you do not require the door to be locked.

  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the internal mechanisms (e.g., latch bolt) to ensure smooth operation. Do not use oil-based lubricants, as they can attract dust and grime.
  • Inspection: Regularly check all screws and components for tightness. Ensure the lock operates smoothly without excessive force.
  • Durability: The lock is designed to be waterproof, sun-resistant, and rust-proof, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. However, extreme conditions may still affect its lifespan.
