4. Setup
4.1 Power Input
Connect a compatible USB-C power adapter to the charger's input port. Ensure the power source provides DC 5V-20V and supports QC 2.0/3.0 or USB PD 2.0/3.0 protocols. For optimal performance and to achieve the maximum 60W charging power, a 60W USB PD power adapter is recommended. Note: A 5V/1A power supply input is not supported and will not power the charger.
4.2 Connecting the Battery
Connect your battery to the charger's output port. For balanced charging of LiPo, LiHv, or LiFe batteries (1-4S), ensure both the main power lead (e.g., XT60) and the balance lead are correctly connected to their respective ports on the charger. For NiMH/Cd batteries, only the main power lead is required.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Selecting Battery Type
Upon powering on, use the control buttons to navigate and select the appropriate battery chemistry (LiPo, LiHv, LiFe, NiMH/Cd) that matches your connected battery. Incorrect selection can damage the battery.
5.2 Setting Charge Current
After selecting the battery type, use the control buttons to adjust the charge current. Available options are 1A, 2A, 3A, and 6A. Always refer to your battery's manufacturer specifications for the recommended safe charging rate. Overcharging or charging at an excessive current can lead to battery damage or safety hazards.
5.3 Starting and Monitoring Charge
Once the battery type and charge current are correctly set, initiate the charging process. The charger's display will show the charging status, including current battery level, voltage, and charging progress. Monitor the charging process and ensure the battery remains within safe operating temperatures.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Firmware Updates
The ISDT PD60 charger supports firmware updates to enhance performance and add new features. To update the firmware, connect the charger to a computer via its USB-C interface. Visit the official ISDT website for the latest firmware files and detailed update instructions.
6.2 Cleaning and Storage
Keep the charger clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the charger in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Disconnect all batteries and power sources before storing.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Abnormal Voltage Alarm
If the charger displays an "Abnormal Voltage Alarm," check the voltage of the connected battery. Ensure it is within the supported voltage range for the selected battery type and cell count. Disconnect the battery, verify its condition, and then reconnect it securely.
7.2 Incorrect Cell Count Setting Alarm
An "Incorrect Cell Count Setting Alarm" indicates a discrepancy between the charger's detected battery cell count and the manual setting. Verify the actual cell count of your battery and adjust the charger's settings accordingly. For example, a 3S LiPo battery should be set to 3S on the charger.
7.3 Charger Not Powering On
If the charger does not power on, ensure the USB-C power input is providing sufficient voltage (5V-20V) and current. Confirm that your power adapter supports QC 2.0/3.0 or USB PD 2.0/3.0 protocols. A 5V/1A power input is not sufficient to operate the charger.
8. Warranty and Support
The ISDT PD60 charger is covered by a manufacturer's warranty. For specific warranty terms, conditions, and duration, please refer to the warranty card or documentation included with your purchase. For technical support, troubleshooting assistance beyond this manual, or service inquiries, please contact ISDT customer support directly through their official website or the retailer from whom you purchased the product.
