Key Features:

  • Automatic self-winding mechanical movement.
  • Power Reserve display.
  • Date display.
  • Protective Mineral Dome Lens Window.
  • Alloy case with a genuine leather strap.
  • Water resistant structure (30 meters).

Setup and Initial Winding

Your FORSINING EA10 watch is an automatic mechanical timepiece. It does not use a battery and is powered by the movement of your arm. For initial setup or if the watch has stopped, manual winding is required.

Manual Winding:

  1. Locate the crown on the right side of the watch case.
  2. Ensure the crown is in its fully pushed-in position (position 0).
  3. Turn the crown clockwise approximately 15-20 times. This will fully wind the mainspring and initiate the movement.
  4. You will see the power reserve indicator move as the watch winds.

After initial winding, wearing the watch for at least 10 hours daily will keep it sufficiently wound through your arm's natural motion. If worn less frequently, occasional manual winding may be necessary.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Time:

  1. Pull the crown out to position 2 (farthest out). The second hand will stop.
  2. Turn the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise or counter-clockwise until the desired time is set.
  3. Push the crown back into position 0 to restart the second hand and begin timekeeping.

Setting the Date:

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1 (middle position).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date display.
  3. Once the correct date is set, push the crown back into position 0.

Note: Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this is when the date change mechanism is engaged and could cause damage. If you need to set the date during this period, first set the time outside this window (e.g., to 6:00 AM), then set the date, and finally reset the correct time.

Power Reserve Indicator:

The sub-dial on the watch face indicates the remaining power reserve. When fully wound, it will show the maximum power reserve. As the watch runs, the indicator will gradually decrease. Wind the watch manually or wear it to replenish the power reserve.

Maintenance and Care

Water Resistance:

Your FORSINING EA10 watch has a water resistance rating of 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, such as washing hands or rain. It is NOT suitable for swimming, diving, showering, or any activities involving prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.

Cleaning:

To clean your watch, gently wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and use a specialized leather cleaner if necessary. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Storage:

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. A watch box or pouch is recommended to protect it from dust and scratches.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running or stopping frequently: This is common for automatic watches if not worn regularly or sufficiently wound. Manually wind the watch by turning the crown 15-20 times. Ensure you wear it for at least 10 hours daily.
  • Time is inaccurate: Ensure the watch is fully wound. Mechanical watches may have a slight deviation in timekeeping compared to quartz watches. If the deviation is significant, ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting the time. Avoid strong magnetic fields.
  • Date not changing: Check if the date is being set during the "forbidden" period (9 PM - 3 AM). Adjust the time first, then the date, then the correct time.

If you experience persistent issues not covered here, please refer to the warranty and support section.
