Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the included Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The scale is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To turn the scale ON, press the ON/ZERO button.
  • To turn the scale OFF, press and hold the ON/ZERO button for a few seconds until the display turns off.

Unit Selection

The scale can measure in grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lb), and pounds + ounces (lb oz).

  1. With the scale powered on, press the UNIT button.
  2. Each press will cycle through the available units. Stop when your desired unit is displayed.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to measure multiple ingredients consecutively.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale platform.
  2. Press the ON/ZERO button. The display will reset to zero.
  3. Add the item(s) to be weighed into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the item(s).
  4. Repeat step 2 to tare additional ingredients.

Parts Counting (PCS)

This feature allows you to count a large number of small, uniformly weighted items.

  1. Place a known quantity of items (e.g., 10, 20, 50, or 100 pieces) on the scale.
  2. Press and hold the PCS button until a number (e.g., "10", "20") flashes on the display.
  3. Press the UNIT button to select the sample size that matches the number of items you placed on the scale.
  4. Press the PCS button again to confirm. The display will now show the count of items.
  5. You can now add more items, and the scale will display the total count.
  6. To exit parts counting mode, press the PCS button.

Display Hold

The Display Hold feature allows you to view the weight of large items even if they obstruct the display.

  1. Weigh an item.
  2. Press the ON/ZERO button (or the button with the speaker icon, depending on model variation) briefly to activate the hold function. The display will show "HOLD" or a similar indicator.
  3. Remove the item. The weight will remain on the display.
  4. Press the button again to clear the held reading.
