- 2.5" SATA Drive: An additional 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD (up to 2TB) can be installed. The necessary screws and cable are typically included.
Installing a 2.5" SATA Drive:
- Prepare Tools: You will need a cross screwdriver and a 2.5-inch 7mm thick hard disk.
- Remove Bottom Cover: Carefully remove the four screws on the bottom of the Mini PC. Gently lift the cover, being mindful of the FPC cable connecting it to the mainboard.
- Install HDD/SSD: Slide your 2.5-inch HDD/SSD into the designated accessory slot on the bottom cover. Secure it with the provided screws.
- Connect Cable: Connect the pre-attached SATA cable from the mainboard to your newly installed drive.
- Reattach Cover: Carefully reattach the bottom cover, ensuring the FPC cable is not pinched, and secure it with the four screws.
- Initialize Drive (if new): After booting Windows, if the new drive is not visible, go to Disk Management (right-click Start button) to initialize and format the drive.
