2. Important Safety Information
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or toaster in water or other liquid.

3. Product Components
Familiarize yourself with the parts of your BELLA 2 Slice Toaster:
- Toasting Slots: Two extra-wide slots for various bread types.

- Browning Control Dial: Adjusts toast shade from 1 (light) to 6 (dark).

4. Setup
Before using your toaster for the first time:
- Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the toaster in water.
- Ensure the crumb tray is properly inserted.
- Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- It is recommended to operate the toaster empty on the highest setting (6) for a few minutes during the first use to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Toasting
- Insert up to two slices of bread, bagels, or waffles into the toasting slots. The extra-wide slots accommodate various bread thicknesses.
- Select your desired browning level using the browning control dial (1 for light, 6 for dark).
- Press the high-lift lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
- Once the selected browning level is reached, the toast will automatically pop up, and the toaster will shut off.

5.2. Special Functions
- Cancel: Press the CANCEL button at any time to stop the toasting cycle and eject the bread.
- Defrost: Insert frozen bread, select your desired browning level, then press the DEFROST button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time to defrost and toast.
- Reheat: Insert previously toasted bread, then press the REHEAT button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the toaster will warm the bread without further browning.
- Bagel: Insert bagels with the cut side facing inwards. Select your desired browning level, then press the BAGEL button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the toaster will toast the cut side while gently warming the outer side.
5.3. High-Lift Lever
The high-lift lever allows for easy removal of smaller items like English muffins or small bread slices, preventing contact with hot surfaces.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
6.1. Crumb Tray
- Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Pull out the removable crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster.
- Discard accumulated crumbs.
- Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
- Never operate the toaster without the crumb tray in place.
6.2. Exterior
- Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- Ensure the toaster is completely dry before plugging it back in.
6.3. Interior
- Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean.
