Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your MX Master 3S mouse:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the mouse surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: Recharge the mouse when the battery indicator is low. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse using the power switch on the bottom to conserve battery.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your MX Master 3S, try the following:
- No Connection: Ensure the mouse is powered on and fully charged. If using the Logi Bolt receiver, try plugging it into a different USB port. If using Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and re-pair the mouse.
- Intermittent Connection: Move the mouse closer to the receiver or your computer. Avoid using the mouse on metal surfaces, which can interfere with wireless signals.
- Tracking Issues: Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse. Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (Darkfield High Precision sensor allows tracking on most surfaces, including glass with a minimum thickness of 4mm).
- Buttons Not Responding: Check Logi Options+ software for any custom settings that might be interfering. Restart your computer and the mouse.
