4.3 Water Connection
- Connect a standard ½ inch garden hose to the universal water inlet at the base of the shower.
- Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
- Slowly turn on the water supply to fill the 40L water tank.
- Allow the tank to fill completely before first use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Heating the Water
The solar shower uses direct sunlight to heat the water stored in its 40L tank. The heating time will vary depending on sunlight intensity, ambient temperature, and initial water temperature. On a sunny day, water can reach temperatures up to 60°C.
5.2 Adjusting Water Temperature
The integrated mixer tap allows you to blend the solar-heated water with cold water from your garden hose to achieve your desired shower temperature.
- Turn the mixer tap handle to the desired position. Moving it towards the red indicator will increase the hot water flow, while moving it towards the blue indicator will increase the cold water flow.
- Always test the water temperature with your hand before stepping under the shower head to avoid scalding.

5.3 Using the Shower Head and Foot Faucet
- The large rain-effect shower head can be rotated 360° to direct the water flow as desired.
- The lower faucet is suitable for rinsing feet or filling small containers. It can also be used to drain the shower tank.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the shower regularly with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
- Winterization: Before the first frost, completely drain all water from the shower tank and pipes. Disconnect the garden hose. Store the shower in a frost-free location if possible, or cover it securely if left outdoors. Failure to do so will void the warranty.
- Durability: The shower is constructed from weather-resistant materials (PVC, ABS plastic, brass, EPDM plastic, steel) designed for outdoor use and resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, and UV rays.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No hot water or insufficient heating. | Not enough direct sunlight; tank not fully filled; cold ambient temperature. | Relocate shower to a sunnier spot; ensure tank is full; allow more time for heating. |
| Low water pressure from shower head. | Low incoming water pressure; clogged shower head nozzles. | Check garden hose pressure; clean shower head nozzles by gently rubbing them. |
| Water leaks from connections. | Loose hose connection; damaged O-ring or seal. | Tighten hose connection; inspect and replace O-rings/seals if damaged. |
| Water temperature is too hot/cold. | Mixer tap not adjusted correctly. | Adjust the mixer tap slowly to achieve the desired temperature. Always test water before use. |
