Operating Instructions
Using your solar shower is straightforward:
- Heating Water: Allow the shower to remain in direct sunlight for several hours. The 20-liter tank will absorb solar energy and heat the water. The actual heating time will vary depending on sunlight intensity and ambient temperature.
- Adjusting Temperature: Use the continuously adjustable mixer tap to control the water temperature. Turn the handle towards the red indicator for warmer water and towards the blue indicator for cooler water. This blends the heated water from the tank with cold water from your garden hose to achieve your desired temperature.
- Using the Main Shower Head: Once the desired temperature is achieved, activate the main shower head. The large rain shower head, equipped with 61 nozzles, provides a wide and comfortable spray. The shower head is 360° rotatable, allowing you to adjust its angle as needed.
- Using the Foot Tap: The lower tap provides cold water and is perfect for rinsing your feet before entering a pool or for filling a bucket.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar shower:
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the shower column, shower head, and taps regularly with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaning agents. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the materials.
- Draining for Winter: Before the first frost or for extended periods of non-use, it is crucial to completely drain all water from the tank and pipes. Use the lower foot tap to facilitate draining. This prevents damage from freezing water.
- Winter Storage: For optimal protection, disassemble the solar shower and store it in a dry, frost-free location during winter months.
- Connection Checks: Periodically inspect all water connections and fittings for any signs of leaks or wear. Tighten connections as necessary.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your solar shower, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Hot Water:
- Ensure the shower has been exposed to direct sunlight for several hours.
- Check that the water tank is full.
- Verify the mixer tap is correctly adjusted to allow hot water flow.
- Low Water Pressure:
- Check the water pressure from your garden hose connection.
- Ensure the garden hose is not kinked or obstructed.
- Clean the nozzles of the shower head if they appear to be clogged with mineral deposits.
- Water Leaks:
