1. Introduction and Overview

The Kyosho KB10 MAD Wagon VE 3S is a high-performance 1/10 scale electric Ready-to-Run (RTR) off-road vehicle. It features a newly designed 4WD chassis compatible with 3S (11.1V) high-power lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries, paired with a powerful brushless motor and speed controller. The aluminum main chassis incorporates front/rear blocks with a split frame and double wishbone suspension, driving all-terrain 2.8-inch wheels and tires. Designed for exceptional driving performance and durability, this model is equipped with 22 ball bearings as standard for superior drive efficiency and lightweight resin telescopic universal shafts on all four wheels to reduce drive loss. A wheelie bar is fitted at the rear to prevent flipping during sudden acceleration.

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

Your Kyosho KB10 MAD Wagon VE 3S is a Ready-to-Run (RTR) model, meaning most components are pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your vehicle for its first use:

1. Install Transmitter Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the Syncro KT-231P + transmitter and insert 4 x AA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity.
2. Charge and Install Motor Battery: Fully charge a compatible 3S (11.1V) LiPo motor battery using an appropriate charger (both sold separately). Once charged, securely install the battery into the vehicle's battery tray and connect it to the ESC.
3. Power On: Turn on the transmitter first, then power on the vehicle's ESC.
4. Steering Trim Adjustment: Before driving, ensure the steering is centered. If the wheels are not straight, use the steering trim dial on the transmitter to adjust until they are.

4. Operating Instructions

The Kyosho KB10 MAD Wagon VE 3S is designed for thrilling off-road action. Familiarize yourself with the controls and the vehicle's capabilities before aggressive driving.

1. Starting the Vehicle: After completing the setup, place the vehicle on a flat surface. Use the pistol grip transmitter to control acceleration (trigger pull) and braking/reverse (trigger push). Steering is controlled by turning the wheel on the transmitter.
2. Driving on Various Terrains: The shaft-type 4WD and double wishbone suspension provide excellent traction and handling on diverse off-road surfaces. The 2.8-inch tires are suitable for various conditions.
3. High-Speed Operation: The powerful brushless motor allows the vehicle to reach speeds up to 75 km/h. Always operate in open areas free from obstacles and people.
4. Using the Wheelie Bar: The integrated wheelie bar helps prevent the vehicle from flipping backward during rapid acceleration, especially on high-traction surfaces.
5. Adjusting Gear Ratios: For optimal performance on different surfaces (e.g., on-road vs. off-road), you can select a wide range of gear ratios by changing the standard gears included in the kit.

5. Maintenance

• Post-Run Inspection: After each use, inspect the vehicle for any loose screws, damaged parts, or debris accumulation.
