Setup and First Use
Before using your BELLA Dual Brew Single Serve Coffee Maker for the first time, follow these steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the coffee maker for any damage.
- Clean Components: Wash the removable parts, such as the ground coffee basket, K-Cup® holder, and drip tray, with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the 14oz mark. Place a large mug or container on the drip tray. Do not add coffee or a K-Cup®. Close the lid and press the brew button to run a cycle. Discard the water. This cleans the internal components and prepares the machine for use.
- Position: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
Brewing with K-Cup® Capsules:
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired level (maximum 14oz).
- Insert K-Cup®: Lift the handle to open the K-Cup® chamber. Place a K-Cup® capsule into the holder, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
- Place Mug: Position your mug or cup on the adjustable drip tray. Adjust the tray height if using a taller travel mug.
- Start Brewing: Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Auto Shut-Off: The coffee maker will automatically turn off once the brewing cycle is complete.
- Remove K-Cup®: After brewing, carefully lift the handle to remove the used K-Cup®. Dispose of the K-Cup® and clean the holder if necessary.

Brewing with Ground Coffee:
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired level (maximum 14oz).
- Add Ground Coffee: Insert the reusable ground coffee basket into the K-Cup® chamber. Add your desired amount of ground coffee (typically 1-2 tablespoons) into the basket. Do not overfill. Close the lid firmly.
- Place Mug: Position your mug or cup on the adjustable drip tray.
- Start Brewing: Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Auto Shut-Off: The coffee maker will automatically turn off once the brewing cycle is complete.
- Remove Ground Coffee Basket: After brewing, carefully remove the ground coffee basket. Discard used grounds and clean the basket.

Care and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker.
Daily Cleaning:
- Unplug: Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
- Drip Tray: Remove and empty the drip tray. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- K-Cup® Holder/Ground Coffee Basket: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. The silicone cup holder can also be cleaned to reduce spillage residue.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Descaling (Monthly or as needed):

- Prepare Solution: Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Run Cycles: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Run several brewing cycles with the vinegar solution until the reservoir is empty.
- Rinse Cycles: After the vinegar solution, fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water and run several more cycles to rinse out any residual vinegar taste.
