3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your FITCAMX Dash Cam:

1. Locate the OBD Port: The OBD port is typically located beneath the steering wheel. This port provides power for the dash cam.

2. Remove Original Cover: Carefully remove the original plastic cover around your rearview mirror using the provided pry tool. This is where the main dash cam unit will be installed.

3. Connect Power Cable: Connect the OBD power cable to the dash cam unit.
4. Route Cables: Route the power cable neatly along the windshield and A-pillar, tucking it under the trim using the pry tool. Connect the other end to the OBD port.

Automatic Recording

If your vehicle's power plug provides continuous electricity, the parking mode will activate.
