6. Maintenance

6.1. Low Battery Reminder

  1. Power off the unit by LONG pressing the On/Off button or by disconnecting the USB cable.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove the old AAA batteries and insert three new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover.
  5. Power on the unit.

6.3. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the exterior of the alarm unit and the detection window with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7. Troubleshooting

  • False Alarms: The alarm uses intelligent analysis algorithms to distinguish between interference signals and human movement. Ensure the unit is placed in an area free from excessive vibrations, direct sunlight, or rapid temperature changes that could trigger false alarms. Adjust the placement to optimize detection.
  • Remote Control Not Pairing: If the remote control fails to pair, ensure the alarm unit is in the learning state (detection light on after LONG pressing Volume button). If the unit indicates that connecting is full (3 flashes, 3 beeps), you may need to remove existing remote controls before adding new ones (refer to Section 4.4).
  • Alarm Not Sounding/Unexpected Tones: Check the selected mode (alarm or doorbell) and volume level. If the unit is behaving erratically, try restoring it to factory settings (refer to Section 4.5).
  • Poor Remote Control Range: Ensure there are no significant obstacles (thick walls, metal structures) between the remote control and the alarm unit. Replace remote control batteries if necessary.
  • Low Battery Indication: If the LED flashes every 40 seconds and the unit beeps three times, replace the AAA batteries or connect the unit to a USB power source.
