- Fresh fruits and vegetables are generally not suitable for vacuuming at room temperature due to gas release. For optimal effect, store these items in a storage box and refrigerate after vacuum packaging.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the vacuum sealer and all accessories from the packaging.
- Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage.

Operation
Basic Vacuum Sealing (Bags)
- Prepare the Bag: Place the food item inside a textured vacuum sealer bag, ensuring at least 3 inches of space between the food and the open end of the bag.
- Open the Lid: Lift the handle to open the lid of the vacuum sealer.
- Position the Bag: Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber, ensuring it lies flat across the sealing strip.
- Close the Lid: Press the handle down firmly until you hear a click, indicating the lid is securely locked on both sides.
- Select Mode: Choose the appropriate vacuum function based on your food type (e.g., Dry, Wet). The Vakumar 3206 offers 5 modes.
- Start Sealing: Press the "Vac&Seal" button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air out of the bag and then seal it.
- Monitor Progress: Indicator lights on the control panel will show the progress.
- Finish: Once the sealing indicator light goes out, the process is complete. Pull up the handle to open the top cover and remove the sealed bag.

Using the Easy-Lock Handle

Accessory Vacuum System (Canisters/Jars)
To vacuum seal canisters or jars, connect the provided hose adapter to the "Container hole" on the vacuum sealer and to the container's vacuum port. Select the "Container" mode and press the button to begin vacuuming. The machine will stop automatically once the desired vacuum level is reached.

Maintenance
