4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is designed to be straightforward. It is recommended to have two people for easier assembly. Approximate assembly time: 60 minutes.

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a blanket or cardboard) to prevent scratches. Refer to the "Package Contents" section to identify each part.
  2. Attach Crossbars to Tabletop: Place the tabletop (Part A) upside down on your protected surface. Align the crossbars (Part C) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the tabletop. Secure them using the appropriate screws from the screw pack (Part E). Do not fully tighten yet.
  3. Attach Legs to Tabletop: Attach the table legs (Part B) to the corners of the tabletop, aligning them with the pre-drilled holes. Use the provided screws (Part E) to secure them. Ensure the legs are oriented correctly.
  4. Secure All Connections: Once all legs and crossbars are in place, gradually tighten all screws using the assembly tool (Part F). Ensure the table frame is stable and square before fully tightening.
  5. Install Adjustable Feet: Turn the table upright. Screw the adjustable feet/caps (Part D) into the bottom of each table leg. These caps protect your floor and allow for minor height adjustments to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.

5. Operating Instructions

The tectake® Garden Table is designed for outdoor dining and leisure. Its robust construction makes it suitable for various weather conditions.

  • Placement: Place the table on a level surface. Use the adjustable feet to compensate for minor unevenness, ensuring the table does not wobble.
  • Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the tabletop. Avoid concentrating heavy items in one small area.
  • Weather Resistance: The table is designed to be weather-resistant. While it can withstand rain and sun, prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may affect its lifespan. Consider using a protective cover during harsh weather or off-season storage.

6. Maintenance and Care

Regular cleaning and proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your garden table.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the table surface and frame with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  • Dirt Resistance: The table's surface is designed to be dirt-resistant, making cleaning easy.
  • Rust Prevention: The aluminum frame is rust-resistant. However, regularly inspect for any signs of damage or corrosion, especially if exposed to saltwater environments.
  • Seasonal Storage: If storing the table for extended periods, especially during winter, clean it thoroughly and cover it with a protective outdoor furniture cover. Store in a dry, sheltered area if possible.
