Setup

1. What's Included

• JBuds Air Pro True Wireless Earbuds
• Charging Case with Integrated USB Charging Cable
• 3 Sets of Gel Tips (Small, Medium, Large)
• 1 Set of Cush Fins

2. Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case has an integrated USB charging cable for convenience.

• Connect the integrated USB cable to a USB-A power source.
• The indicator lights on the case will show charging status.
• Charging time for the earbuds is approximately 1.5 hours.
• The earbuds provide 9 hours of playtime, with an additional 27 hours from the charging case, totaling 36 hours.

3. Fitting Your Earbuds

Proper fit is crucial for sound quality and comfort. Experiment with the different sizes of gel tips and cush fins to find the best seal for your ears.

• Select the gel tips that provide a snug fit and good passive noise isolation.
• Attach the cush fins if desired for added stability, especially during physical activity. Ensure the fins are correctly oriented to fit the contours of your ear.
• Gently insert the earbuds into your ear canal and twist slightly to secure them.

4. Initial Bluetooth Pairing

The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when removed from the charging case for the first time.

1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on and connect to each other.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), open the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "JBuds Air Pro" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, you will hear an audio prompt confirming the connection.

Operating Your Earbuds

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Remove earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on. Alternatively, press and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Place earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically power off and begin charging. Alternatively, press and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 5 seconds.

3. Bluetooth Multipoint

The JBuds Air Pro support Bluetooth Multipoint technology, allowing you to connect to two devices simultaneously and seamlessly switch between them.

• Pair the earbuds with your first device as described in the Initial Bluetooth Pairing section.
• Once connected, turn off Bluetooth on the first device. The earbuds will re-enter pairing mode.
• Pair the earbuds with your second device.
• Turn Bluetooth back on for the first device. The earbuds will now be connected to both devices.
• To switch audio, simply pause playback on the current device and start playback on the other device.

You can use either earbud independently (left or right) or both together, depending on your activity and environment. Both earbuds have a built-in MEMS microphone for clear calls.

5. EQ3 Sound Settings

The JBuds Air Pro offer three EQ (Equalizer) settings to customize your listening experience without needing an app. Simply triple-tap either earbud to cycle through the modes:

• JLab Signature: Amplified vocals and bass, suitable for most uses and music types.
• Balanced: Even sound across all frequencies, ideal for podcasts, audiobooks, and classical music.
• Bass Boost: Amplified bass and sub-bass, best for workouts, sports, and genres like hip-hop, rap, and electronic music.

The earbuds are equipped with wear detect sensors that automatically pause your audio when you remove an earbud from your ear. Reinserting the earbud will resume playback.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

• Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Remove ear tips and clean them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
• Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case using a dry cotton swab to ensure proper charging.

2. Storage

• Always store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.
• Store the case in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

The JBuds Air Pro are rated IP55 for sweat and dust resistance, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities. While they are resistant to sweat and light splashes, they are not waterproof and should not be submerged in water.

• Do not rinse the earbuds under running water.
• Ensure earbuds are dry before placing them back into the charging case to prevent damage to the charging contacts.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your JBuds Air Pro, try the following steps:

1. Earbuds Not Pairing with Each Other or Device

• Ensure both earbuds are fully charged.
• Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and wait a few seconds.
• Remove them from the case. They should automatically connect to each other.
• If still not pairing, forget "JBuds Air Pro" from your device's Bluetooth settings and attempt to re-pair.

2. No Sound or Low Volume

• Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds.
• Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ears and that the correct size ear tips are used for a good seal.
• Clean any debris from the earbud nozzles.

3. Charging Issues

• Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
• Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case.
• Try a different USB power source or cable.

4. Resetting Your Earbuds

If issues persist, a factory reset may resolve them:

1. Forget "JBuds Air Pro" from your device's Bluetooth settings.
2. Place both earbuds in the charging case and close the lid.
3. Open the lid and quickly tap one earbud's touch sensor 7 times. The earbud will flash blue 4 times.
4. Repeat for the other earbud.
5. Remove both earbuds from the case. They will automatically connect to each other and then enter pairing mode.
6. Reconnect to your device via Bluetooth.
