This device is designed to provide a reliable alarm clock experience with added features such as soothing sounds, FM radio, and a convenient USB charging port. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the unit to ensure proper use and to maximize its features.

Safety Information

- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this product during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Setup
1. Power Connection
- Unpack the RCA RCS27 Digital Radio Alarm Clock and all accessories from the box.
- Connect the provided AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the AC power adapter into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V, 60Hz).
- The display will light up, indicating the unit is receiving power.
2. Initial Time Setting
Upon first power-up or after a power interruption, the clock display may flash.
- Press and hold the SET TIME button.
- While holding SET TIME, press the HOUR+ button to adjust the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- While holding SET TIME, press the MINUTE+ button to adjust the minute.
- Release the SET TIME button to confirm the time.
3. Display Brightness Control
The display brightness can be adjusted to your preference.
- Press the DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels (High, Medium, Low, Off).

Operating Instructions
1. Setting Alarms (AL1 and AL2)
The unit features dual alarms (AL1 and AL2) that can be set independently.
- Press and hold the AL1 SET or AL2 SET button to set the desired alarm. The alarm time will flash.
- While holding the respective AL SET button, press HOUR+ to adjust the alarm hour.
- While holding the respective AL SET button, press MINUTE+ to adjust the alarm minute.
- Release the AL SET button to confirm the alarm time.
- Press the AL1 SET or AL2 SET button repeatedly to cycle through alarm modes:
- BEEP: Wakes you with a standard alarm tone.
- MUSIC: Wakes you with the last selected soothing sound or FM radio station.
- OFF: Turns the alarm off.
- The corresponding alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will light up on the display when an alarm is active.
2. Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
3. Sleep Function
The sleep function allows you to fall asleep to soothing sounds or FM radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period.
- While the unit is playing FM radio or soothing sounds, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.
4. FM Radio Operation
- Press the ON/OFF/SOURCE button to turn on the unit and select FM radio mode.
- Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons to manually tune to a desired FM station.
- Press and hold TUNE+ or TUNE- to automatically scan for the next available station.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL+ or VOL- buttons.
5. Soothing Sounds
The unit includes 6 built-in soothing sounds to help you relax or fall asleep.
- Press the SOOTHING SOUNDS button repeatedly to cycle through the available sounds: Ocean Waves, White Noise, Nature Sounds, Soft Music, etc.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL+ or VOL- buttons.

6. USB Charging Port
The USB port on the side of the unit is for charging your mobile devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
- Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB port on the RCA RCS27.
- Ensure your device begins charging. The charging speed may vary depending on the device and cable.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
- Before cleaning, unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Keep the unit dry. Avoid exposing it to water or excessive moisture.
Troubleshooting
