Setup Instructions

Assembly is straightforward and requires no additional tools. Follow these steps:

  1. Connect the Water Pump: Attach the water pump to the main body of the cleaner. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Assemble Extension Tubes: Depending on your tank depth, connect one or both extension tubes to the main body. The adjustable handle length is suitable for tanks between 23 inches and 40 inches deep.
  3. Attach Handle: Secure the non-slip handle to the top of the extension tube assembly.
  4. Select and Attach Suction Head: Choose the appropriate suction head for your task (e.g., sand vacuum, brush head, duckbill, or corner suction inlet) and attach it to the bottom of the pump unit.
  5. Install Filter Cup: If using for filtration or water circulation within the tank, ensure the filter cup with its sponge is correctly installed above the pump.
  6. Connect Outlet Pipe: For water changing, attach the outlet pipe to the designated port on the pump unit. Direct the other end into a bucket or drain.

Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure the pump is fully submerged in water to prevent damage. The device is equipped with a 320 GPH (gallons per hour) powerful flow water pump.

General Operation Safety

1. Water Changing & Adding Water

Attach the outlet pipe and direct it into a suitable container or drain. Submerge the pump unit into the aquarium water. Turn on the power switch. The pump will begin to draw water out of the tank. To add water, ensure the outlet pipe is connected to a water source (e.g., a bucket of treated water) and the pump is submerged in the tank, then turn it on to circulate water into the tank.

2. Sand Washing & Debris Cleaning

Attach the sand vacuum with filter sponge or the duckbill suction inlet. Gently push the attachment into the gravel or sand. The powerful suction will lift debris and waste, which will then be captured by the internal filter sponge. The cleaned water will be returned to the tank or directed out via the outlet pipe, depending on your setup.

3. Tank Scrubbing

Attach the 360° brush head. Submerge the brush head and gently scrub the inner surfaces of your aquarium to remove algae and grime. The pump will simultaneously draw in loosened debris for filtration.

4. Corner Suction

Utilize the corner suction inlet to reach tight spaces and corners of your aquarium, effectively removing hidden debris and waste.

5. Water Filtering & Circulation

When using the filter cup with sponge, the cleaner can operate as an internal filter, circulating water and removing suspended particles. This function can also be used to provide a gentle "shower" for aquatic turtles.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your cleaner.

  1. Clean Filter Sponge: After each use, or when suction power decreases, disassemble the filter cup and rinse the filter sponge thoroughly under clean water.
  2. Clean Impeller: The pump features a tool-free detachable motor. Periodically, detach the motor and clean any debris or buildup from the impeller to maintain strong suction.
  3. Rinse Attachments: Rinse all used attachments with clean water after each use to prevent residue buildup.
  4. Storage: Store the cleaner and its components in a clean, dry place when not in use.
