Setup

Follow these steps to set up your feed pellet mill machine:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Initial Inspection: Check for any visible damage during shipping.
  3. Gear Oil Addition: Before first use, add gear oil to the gearbox. The oil level should reach half of the machine dipstick.
  4. Hopper Installation: Install the feed hopper onto the top of the machine.
  5. Discharge Chute Installation: Attach the discharge chute to the machine using the provided screws.
  6. Roller Adjustment: Ensure the nuts on both sides of the pressure rollers are balanced to avoid damage. The discharge speed can be adjusted by modifying the distance between the pressing roller and the grinding disc.
  7. Power Connection: Connect the machine to a 220V power supply. The machine is equipped with a circuit breaker for safety.

Setup and Assembly Video Guide:

Video 1: This video demonstrates the assembly process, including installing the hopper and discharge chute (1:04-1:15), and adjusting the pressure rollers (0:00-0:07 overview, 0:07-0:15 initial disassembly for access). It also shows adding gear oil (0:00-0:07 overview).

Operation

Once the machine is properly set up, follow these steps for operation:

  1. Prepare Raw Materials: Ensure your raw materials (e.g., corn, soybeans, hay, straw) are suitable for pelletizing. The total humidity of raw materials should be controlled at approximately 5%-10% for optimal results.
  2. Power On: Turn on the machine using the power switch.
  3. Feed Materials: Slowly pour the prepared raw materials into the enlarged feeding port. Refer to Video 1 (1:21-1:26) for a visual demonstration of feeding materials.
  4. Pellet Collection: The machine will process the materials and discharge pellets through the chute. Collect the finished pellets in a suitable container. Refer to Video 1 (1:26-1:38) for a visual demonstration of pellet discharge.
  5. Monitor Operation: Observe the machine during operation for any unusual noises or performance issues.
  6. Power Off: Once finished, turn off the machine and disconnect it from the power supply.
