5.5 Optimal Viewing Environment
For the best image quality, it is recommended to use the projector in a dark environment with lights turned off. This enhances contrast and brightness perception.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Dust-proof Net Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the dust-proof net is necessary to prevent dust from accumulating inside the lens, which can cause dark spots on the projection screen. If dark spots appear, cleaning the dust-proof net often resolves the issue. Refer to the detailed instruction video provided by the manufacturer if you are unsure how to perform this.
6.2 Heat Dissipation
To prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance, do not block the heat dissipation vents of the projector. Avoid covering the projector with cloth or placing it in an enclosed space during use.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Sound from Netflix/Streaming Apps: If there is no sound when playing videos from Netflix or similar apps, disable Dolby Sound. Go to Settings > Display and Sound > Audio > Dolby Digital Out, and then turn on Dolby Digital Plus.
- WiFi Connection Issues: If the WiFi connection is delayed or fails, check your home network environment. Ensure the WiFi signal percentage displayed on the access point is strong (ideally lower than -50%). A signal reaching -80% may cause connection failures. Some mobile devices may also have compatibility issues with screen mirroring.
- Dark Spots on Screen: This is typically caused by dust inside the lens. Refer to Section 6.1 for cleaning instructions.
- Image Not Clear/Blurry: Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens. Ensure the projector is placed at an appropriate distance from the screen.
- Remote Control Not Working: Ensure 2 "AAA" batteries are correctly inserted into the remote control. Check battery polarity.
