Installation

Ensure your door thickness is compatible with the lock. The lock fits standard door thicknesses between 1.3 to 2.1 inches.

Setup
After physical installation, proceed with the electronic setup of your smart lock using the TTLock App.
1. TTLock App Setup
- Download the TTLock App from your smartphone's app store.
- Create an account and log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your CATCHFACE G02-FBA Smart Lock. This typically involves enabling Bluetooth on your phone and searching for the lock.

2. Adding Access Methods
The TTLock App allows you to add various access methods for your smart lock.
- Adding Fingerprints: Navigate to the 'Fingerprints' section in the app. Follow the prompts to register new fingerprints. For optimal recognition, record your fingerprint from multiple angles, especially the edge positions. The semiconductor fingerprint sensor supports 360° recognition for quick unlocking (less than 0.5 seconds).
- Generating Passcodes: In the 'Passcodes' section, you can generate various types of passcodes: permanent, timed, one-time, or custom. This is useful for granting temporary access to guests or service providers.
- Adding IC Cards: Go to the 'Cards' section. Follow the instructions to register the included IC cards with your lock. These cards provide a convenient alternative for unlocking, especially for individuals who prefer not to use fingerprints or smartphones.
- Sending eKeys: Share digital keys with other TTLock users directly through the app. This allows them to unlock the door using their own smartphone.

Operating Instructions
Your CATCHFACE G02-FBA Smart Lock offers multiple ways to unlock and lock your door.
Unlocking the Door
- App Unlock: Open the TTLock App, ensure Bluetooth is enabled, and tap the unlock icon. The lock will disengage, allowing you to turn the handle.
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. Once recognized, the lock will unlock.
- Password Unlock: Enter your registered passcode on the keypad, followed by the '#' key. The lock will unlock. The keypad features anti-peeking password protection, allowing you to input random numbers before or after your actual password to prevent others from guessing it.
- IC Card Unlock: Tap a registered IC card against the card reader area on the lock. The lock will unlock upon successful recognition.
- Mechanical Key Unlock: Insert the physical key into the keyhole and turn to unlock the door. This method is available for emergency access.

Locking the Door
- Automatic Locking: The lock is designed to automatically lock after a set period (configurable in the app) once the door is closed.
- Manual Locking: Long press the '#' button on the keypad to manually lock the door.
Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The lock is powered by 4 AAA alkaline batteries. When the battery level is low (below 20%), the TT Lock app will provide a low battery alarm, and the lock will emit a 'di-di' sound. Replace all four batteries promptly when this occurs.
- Emergency Power Supply: If the batteries completely drain, you can supply temporary power via the integrated micro USB port using a power bank. This allows you to unlock the door and replace the batteries.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lock's surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your CATCHFACE Smart Lock, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels. If low, use the emergency USB power supply. Ensure the lock is properly installed and all connections are secure.
- Fingerprint Not Recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint from multiple angles in the app.
- Keypad Not Working: Verify that the keypad lights up when touched. If not, check battery levels. Ensure you are entering the correct passcode followed by '#'.
- App Connectivity Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range of the lock. Restart the app or your phone if necessary.
- Lock Does Not Lock/Unlock Properly: Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch. Ensure the lock is aligned correctly with the strike plate.
- Resetting the Lock: If issues persist, you may need to reset the lock to factory settings. Refer to the User Manual for specific instructions on how to perform a factory reset using the provided reset pin.
