2. Setup

Before operating your dehumidifier, ensure it is placed on a stable, level surface in the desired location. Allow at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow.

2.1 Drainage Methods

Your HOGARLABS dehumidifier offers two convenient drainage options:

1. Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The unit is equipped with a 0.42-gallon water tank. When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off and sound an alarm to alert you to empty it. Once emptied and reinserted, the unit will resume operation.
2. Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For extended use without manual emptying, connect the included 3.28-foot drain hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain water into a suitable floor drain or container.

The dehumidifier features an intuitive top touch control panel and an LCD humidity display for easy operation.

3.1 Working Modes

Select from three distinct working modes to suit your needs:

• DEHU Mode: Allows you to set a target humidity level between 30% and 80%. The dehumidifier will automatically turn on and off to maintain your desired humidity. Recommended comfortable humidity for people is 45%-60%.
• DRY Mode: A unique mode designed for quickly drying wet clothes and preventing odors.
• CONT Mode: Suitable for continuous dehumidification in high-humidity spaces, such as rapidly removing fog or water drops from bathroom glass.
