3. Setup and Installation

4.1 Motion Sensor Adjustment
The motion sensor has two adjustable dials: DISTANCE (Sensitivity) and TIME.

4.2 Lighting Modes
The 6222W-PIR offers four distinct lighting modes, selectable via the mode dial on the sensor unit:

- Test Mode: Used for initial setup and testing the sensor's detection area. The light will turn on for a short period when motion is detected, regardless of ambient light.
- Security Mode: The light turns on to full brightness only when motion is detected during nighttime. It turns off after the set TIME duration if no further motion is detected.
- Dusk to Dawn Mode: The light turns on at a low brightness level at dusk and stays on until dawn. When motion is detected, it switches to full brightness for the set TIME duration, then returns to low brightness.
- Manual Override Mode: Allows the light to operate constantly at 100% brightness for a selected period (e.g., 6 hours), overriding the motion sensor and dusk-to-dawn functions. To activate, quickly turn the power switch OFF and ON twice. The light will remain on until the override period ends or power is cycled again.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your security light.
- Cleaning: Clean the fixture periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or lens. Ensure the motion sensor lens is clean for accurate detection.
- Inspection: Periodically check for any loose wiring, damaged components, or signs of wear. Address any issues promptly.
