Setup
1. Charging the Device
The scanner is equipped with a built-in 1400mAh lithium polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB data cable. A full charge typically takes approximately two hours.
2. Connecting to a Computer
- Insert the 2.4G wireless USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the JRHC Inventory Scanner.
- The scanner will automatically connect to the computer. No additional driver installation or software is required for basic functionality (plug and play).
The scanner is compatible with WINDOWS XP/7/8/10 operating systems and works with office software such as WORD, EXCEL, and Text editors.
3. Language Settings
The laser barcode scanner supports three languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese. Refer to the on-screen menu for instructions on how to change the language setting.

Scanning Modes
The JRHC 6606L offers three distinct scanning modes to suit different operational needs:
- Scan Gun Mode: In this mode, scanned data is temporarily stored when offline or wirelessly disconnected. Data is automatically sent to the connected computer once a signal is re-established.
- Collection Mode: This mode offers enhanced safety with its plug-and-play functionality. Users can set the device to scan and prevent repeat codes, ensuring unique data collection.
- Inventory Mode: When scanning barcodes, the device automatically accumulates data. This mode also allows users to browse and modify incorrect data entries directly on the device.

Wireless Transmission

Data Storage and Management
The scanner can create up to 180 storage libraries and store a maximum of 400,000 data entries. It features 16MB of storage space. For transmitting large volumes of data, such as 10,000 barcodes, the text upload function can significantly improve work efficiency.
Maintenance
Battery Care
- Charge the device fully before initial use and when the battery indicator is low.

Cleaning
