Setup

1. Power Connection

  1. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the MS5 radio.

2. Initial Setup Wizard

The first time you power on the unit, an initial setup wizard will guide you through basic settings.

3. Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

A stable Wi-Fi connection is required for Internet Radio and Spotify Connect features.

  2. Select "Network" or "Wi-Fi Setup".
  3. Choose "Scan for Networks" to find available Wi-Fi networks.
  4. Select your network from the list.

DAB/DAB+ and FM Radio

  1. Select "DAB Radio" or "FM Radio" from the main menu.
  2. For DAB/DAB+, perform an auto-scan to find available digital stations.

Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer

  • Dual Alarms: Access the "Alarm" settings in the menu. You can set two independent alarms with different times, sources (buzzer, Internet Radio, DAB, FM), and recurrence (daily, weekdays, weekends, once).
  • Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press the control knob or a designated snooze button on the remote to temporarily silence it for a few minutes.
  • Sleep Timer: In the "Sleep Timer" settings, you can set a duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes) after which the radio will automatically turn off, allowing you to fall asleep to your preferred audio.

Headphone Output

For private listening, connect 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the unit.
