Setup

1. Initial Power-up and Reset

  1. Upon first use, connect the timer to an AC power source to charge the internal battery. Allow a few minutes for charging.
  2. Press the RESET button (usually a small recessed button requiring a pointed object like a pen tip) to clear all factory settings and initialize the timer. The LCD will display '00:00' and 'AUTO'.

2. Setting Current Time

After resetting, set the current day and time:

  1. Press and hold the (Clock Icon) button.
  2. While holding the button, press D+ to set the current day of the week (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
  3. While holding the button, press H+ to set the current hour.
  4. While holding the button, press M+ to set the current minute.
  5. Release the button. The time is now set.

3. Wiring Instructions

Refer to the wiring diagrams on the device and below. Ensure power is disconnected before wiring.

  • Terminals 1 & 2: Power input for the timer (e.g., 110V AC Live and Neutral).
  • Terminals 3, 4, 5: Output contacts for controlling your load.
    • Terminal 3: Normally Closed (NC) contact.
    • Terminal 4: Common (COM) contact.
    • Terminal 5: Normally Open (NO) contact.
  • Connect the Live wire from your power source to Terminal 1.
  • Connect the Neutral wire from your power source to Terminal 2.
  • For your load (e.g., a lamp), connect one side of the load to the Neutral wire.
  • Connect the other side of the load to Terminal 5 (NO) for typical ON/OFF control.
  • Connect a jumper wire from Terminal 1 (Live) to Terminal 4 (COM).

Operating

1. Programming ON/OFF Cycles

The timer supports up to 16 ON and 8 OFF programs.

  1. Press the P button once. The display will show '1 ON'. This is your first ON program.
  2. Press D+ to select the day(s) for this program. You can choose individual days, weekdays, weekends, or various combinations.
  3. Press H+ to set the hour for the first ON time.
  4. Press M+ to set the minute for the first ON time.
  5. Press P again. The display will show '1 OFF'. This is your first OFF program.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the day(s), hour, and minute for the first OFF time.
  7. Continue pressing P to cycle through '2 ON', '2 OFF', up to '16 ON' and '8 OFF' programs, setting each as desired.
  8. After setting all desired programs, press the (Clock Icon) button to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.

2. Manual Override (MANUAL C/R)

The MANUAL C/R button allows you to temporarily override the programmed settings:

  • Pressing MANUAL C/R will cycle the output status through ON, AUTO ON, OFF, AUTO OFF.
  • ON: Output is continuously ON, ignoring programs.
  • AUTO ON: Output is currently ON, following programs.
  • OFF: Output is continuously OFF, ignoring programs.
  • AUTO OFF: Output is currently OFF, following programs.
  • For normal operation, ensure the display shows 'AUTO'.

3. 12/24 Hour Mode Selection

To switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour modes:

  • From the current time display, press and hold the (Clock Icon) button for approximately 5 seconds.
  • The display will show 'AM' or 'PM' for 12-hour mode, or switch to 24-hour format.
  • Repeat the process to toggle back to the other mode.

Maintenance

  • Clean the timer's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • The internal battery is designed for long-term use and is not user-replaceable. If the timer loses time or settings frequently, ensure it is consistently connected to power to allow the battery to charge.
  • Regularly check wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear.
