1. Introduction

This device allows you to control your motorized roller shutters conveniently through manual touch, a smartphone application, or voice commands. Please read this manual carefully before installation and use to ensure proper operation and safety.

2. Safety Information

5. Installation

Important: Ensure the main power supply is OFF before beginning installation.

  1. Prepare Wiring: Identify the Live (L), Neutral (N), Open (Up), and Close (Down) wires from your roller shutter motor and electrical box.
  2. Connect Wires: Connect the wires to the corresponding terminals on the Maxcio H Smart Roller Shutter Switch as shown in the diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Mount the Switch: Secure the switch into the wall box using the provided screws.
  4. Restore Power: Turn the main power supply back ON.

5.1 Wi-Fi Connection

For smart features, the switch requires a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Ensure your router is within range.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Manual Control

The switch features three touch buttons:

  • Up Arrow: Raises the roller shutter.
  • Stop/Pause Button: Stops the roller shutter at its current position.
  • Down Arrow: Lowers the roller shutter.

6.2 App Control

Download the Maxcio Home app (or compatible smart home app) from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your switch. Once paired, you can control the roller shutter from anywhere.

  • Open/Close: Tap the respective buttons in the app.
  • Percentage Control: Adjust the roller shutter to a specific percentage (e.g., 30% open).
  • Group Control: Control multiple switches simultaneously.
  • Sharing Function: Share control with family members.

6.4 Scheduling

Set schedules for your roller shutters to open or close automatically at specific times, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency.

6.5 Backlight Control

The switch's backlight can be turned off via the app or manually to avoid disturbing sleep, especially in bedrooms.

6.6 Smart Home Integration

7. Maintenance

  • Roller Shutter Moves in Wrong Direction:
    • Use the motor direction reversal function within the Maxcio app (refer to Figure 2).
  • Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
    • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.
    • Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the switch location.
    • Restart your router and try pairing again.
