Setup and Installation

This air conditioner is designed for window installation. Ensure you have all necessary parts and tools before beginning. It requires a standard 3-prong 120V/15A household outlet.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Window: Ensure the window opening is clean and clear of obstructions. The window must be able to support the weight of the unit.
  2. Attach Side Panels: Slide the accordion side panels into the side channels of the air conditioner unit.
  3. Secure Top Rail: Attach the top mounting rail to the top of the unit using the provided screws.
  4. Place Unit in Window: Carefully lift the unit and place it into the window opening, ensuring the bottom rail rests securely on the windowsill.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening completely.
  6. Secure Unit: Use the provided screws and brackets to secure the unit to the window frame and sash, ensuring a tight seal.
  7. Apply Foam Seals: Apply the foam seals around the unit and window frame to prevent air leakage and improve insulation.
  8. Plug In: Once securely installed, plug the power cord into a dedicated 3-prong 120V/15A grounded outlet.

Air Filter Cleaning:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or when the "FILTER" indicator light illuminates. A dirty filter can reduce cooling efficiency and airflow.
