Maintenance
Water Resistance (100 Meters)
Your Casio W737HX-1AV watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (10 BAR). This means it is suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water resistance. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, which can damage seals.
Battery Life
The watch is equipped with a long-life Lithium Ion battery, providing approximately 10 years of operation under normal use. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may indicate a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified technician to maintain water resistance.

Cleaning and Care
Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild neutral detergent, then wipe dry. Avoid using volatile agents like thinner, gasoline, alcohol, or chemical cleaning sprays, as they can damage the resin components.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low. Consider replacing the battery. Ensure the watch is not exposed to extreme temperatures.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have one). If submerged, dry the watch thoroughly before attempting to use buttons. If the issue persists, a reset may be required (consult a service center).
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in the "Setting the Time and Date" section. Ensure the 12/24-hour format is correctly selected.
- Alarm does not sound: Verify that the alarm is turned ON in Alarm Mode. Check the alarm volume setting if available (this model typically has a fixed alarm tone).
