5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Initial Setup

1. Power On: Connect the camera to the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet. The camera will perform a self-test.
2. Download App: Download the "Ctronics Pro" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). For PC/Mac, download "HIP2P" software.
3. Register Account: Open the app and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
4. Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the app to add a new device. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.
5. Network Connection: The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi for a stable and fast connection. For wired connection, plug an Ethernet cable into the camera's Ethernet port and connect it to your router.

5.2 Mounting the Camera

Choose a suitable outdoor location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your Wi-Fi network or Ethernet connection. The camera is IP66 waterproof, suitable for various weather conditions.

1. Mark Drilling Positions: Use the mounting template (if provided) or the camera base to mark the drilling positions on the wall or ceiling.
2. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the wall plugs.
3. Secure Camera: Align the camera base with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws.
4. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the camera and ensure the connection is waterproof using the provided kit.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Once connected, open the Ctronics Pro app to access the live view. You can control the camera's pan (355°) and tilt (90°) functions directly from the app to adjust the viewing angle.

6.2 Human Detection and Auto Tracking

The camera features advanced AI algorithms for intelligent human detection, reducing false alarms by 95%. When human motion is detected, the camera will automatically track the movement and send real-time notifications to your smartphone.

6.3 Night Vision

Equipped with 2 IR LEDs and advanced digital image noise reduction, the camera provides clear night vision up to 25 meters (82 feet). The intelligent IR auto-switch ensures optimal visibility in low-light conditions.

6.4 Two-Way Audio

The built-in microphone and speaker enable real-time two-way conversation with visitors or to deter intruders. You can communicate through the Ctronics Pro app.

6.5 Recording and Storage

The camera supports continuous recording (24/7 NVR recording) and event-triggered recording (e.g., upon human detection). Recordings are automatically saved to the included 32GB TF card, which can be upgraded to a 128GB TF card.

The camera also supports cloud storage and FTP server recording (if configured).

6.6 Custom Audio Alarm

You can set a custom audio alarm through the app. When human motion is detected, the camera will play the customized audio alarm, in addition to sending real-time notifications to your smartphone.
