Unpacking

Exhaust Hose and Window Kit Installation
- Attach the exhaust hose connector to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter.
- Adjust the window sealing kit to fit your window opening (suitable for windows 65 cm to 120 cm).
- Insert the window kit into the window opening and secure it.
- Ensure the exhaust hose is extended as straight as possible to allow efficient hot air expulsion. Avoid sharp bends.

Unit Placement
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure there is at least 30 cm of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Position the unit near a window for easy exhaust hose installation.

Operating Instructions
This section details how to operate your RELAX4LIFE Portable Air Conditioner using both the control panel and the remote control.
Control Panel

- Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cooling, Dehumidifying, Fan, and Night modes.
- Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (High/Low).
- Timer Button: Sets the auto-on/off timer (1-24 hours).
- Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts temperature settings or timer duration.
- Lock Button: Activates/deactivates the child lock function.
- Digital Display: Shows current temperature or timer settings.
Remote Control
The remote control allows you to operate the unit from a distance. It has similar buttons to the control panel for convenience. (Note: Sleep mode may not be activatable via remote control, refer to Figure 6 for details).
Operating Modes
- Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Set your desired temperature using the Up/Down buttons.
- Dehumidifying Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. The fan speed is typically fixed in this mode.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose between high or low fan speed.
- Night Mode (Sleep Mode): Designed for quiet operation and energy saving during sleep. In this mode, the set temperature will increase by 1°C every hour for the first two hours, then maintain that temperature to prevent overcooling.

Timer Function
Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration (1-24 hours). The unit will automatically turn off or on after the set time. Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the hours.
Child Lock Function
Activate the Child Lock by pressing the Lock button on the control panel. This prevents accidental changes to settings, ensuring continuous operation as desired.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient performance of your air conditioner.
Cleaning the Surface
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents as they may damage the ABS material.
- Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging it back in.
Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the air conditioner.
- Locate the removable filter screen (refer to Figure 4).
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Wash the filter with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Draining Condensate
The unit has a self-evaporative system, but in high humidity conditions, water may accumulate. The unit also features a bottom drainage hole (refer to Figure 4).
- When the water tank is full, the unit may stop operating and display an error code (consult troubleshooting section).
- Unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage hole at the bottom of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, securely replace the drain plug.
Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all condensate water completely.
- Clean the air filter.
- Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
- Store the unit in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original packaging.
