Setup & Installation
1. Before You Begin
Tools Required (Not Included): Screwdriver, Wire Strippers, Electrical Tape, Pliers, Safety Glasses, Ladder.
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture.
- Unpack all components and inspect for any damage.
2. Mounting the Fixture
This fixture is designed for both flat and sloped ceilings.

- Attach the mounting crossbar to the junction box using the provided screws.
- Determine the desired hanging height. The chain is adjustable up to 36 inches. Use pliers to open and remove excess chain links if necessary.
- Thread the fixture wires through the chain and canopy.
- Secure the chain to the canopy and the fixture body.

3. Wiring Instructions
- Connect the fixture's black wire to the house's black (Live) wire using a wire nut.
- Connect the fixture's white wire to the house's white (Neutral) wire using a wire nut.
- Connect the fixture's ground wire to the house's ground wire (bare copper or green) and to the mounting crossbar using a wire nut or ground screw.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
4. Installing the Bulb and Glass Shade
- Align the canopy with the mounting crossbar and secure it with the provided screws.
- Insert one E26 medium base bulb (not included) into the socket. Do not exceed 60W.
- Carefully attach the clear glass shade to the fixture body according to the design.

Once installation is complete, restore power at the circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
The Pia Ricco Outdoor Pendant Light operates via a standard wall switch (not included). Once installed and wired correctly, simply toggle the wall switch to turn the light on or off.
- Bulb Compatibility: This fixture is compatible with E26 medium base LED, Incandescent, and Halogen bulbs up to 60 watts.
- For optimal energy efficiency and longevity, LED bulbs are recommended.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your pendant light.
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, turn off the power and wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may damage the finish or glass.
- Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing the bulb. Allow the old bulb to cool completely before removal. Screw in the new E26 bulb firmly.
- Weather Resistance: The fixture is designed to be weather-resistant (IP65 rated), offering protection against UV, water, wind, and snow exposure. Periodically inspect for any debris accumulation.
