3.4 App Installation and Connection
For advanced features and real-time image transmission, download the dedicated drone app. Scan the QR code provided in the separate operation manual or search for the app name in your device's app store.
- Power on the drone and the remote controller.
- On your smartphone, connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "WIFI_DRONE_XXXX").
- Open the drone app. The app should automatically connect to the drone.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Flight Controls
Familiarize yourself with the remote controller's joysticks and buttons as shown in Figure 3.2. The left joystick controls altitude (up/down) and rotation (left/right), while the right joystick controls forward/backward and left/right movement.
4.2 One-Key Take-Off and Landing
Press the One-Key Take-Off button (refer to controller diagram) to automatically launch the drone to a stable hovering altitude. Press the One-Key Return button to initiate an automatic landing sequence.
4.3 Optical Flow Hovering
The TizzyToy S6 Drone utilizes optical flow hovering technology for stable flight, especially in indoor environments or areas with clear ground patterns. This feature helps the drone maintain its position without constant manual adjustment.

4.4 Infrared Obstacle Avoidance
The drone is equipped with infrared sensors for three-sided obstacle avoidance (front, left, and right). This feature helps prevent collisions by automatically adjusting the drone's flight path when obstacles are detected. This is particularly useful for novice pilots.

4.5 360° Stunt Roll
Easily perform 360° stunt tumbling with just one button. This feature allows the drone to execute impressive aerial maneuvers, leveraging its six-axis gyroscope for stable execution.

4.6 Low Battery Automatic Tips
When the drone's battery power is below 20%, the lights will flash, and the drone will slowly descend and land. This provides sufficient time to return the drone safely before power is completely depleted.

4.8 Advanced Flight Modes
- Fixed Point Flight: Set a specific point for the drone to hover around.
- Surround Shooting: The drone can orbit a designated point, capturing video or photos.
- Headless Mode: Simplifies flight by eliminating the need to distinguish the drone's front from its rear.
5. Maintenance
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare blades.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge. If storing for extended periods, charge to about 50%.
- Motor Inspection: Ensure motors are free from debris. If you hear unusual noises (e.g., squealing), discontinue use and inspect for issues.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drone does not power on. | Battery not charged or not properly installed. | Ensure battery is fully charged and securely inserted. |
| Drone does not respond to controller. | Not paired, low controller battery, or interference. | Re-pair drone and controller. Replace controller batteries. Fly in an open area away from strong signals. |
| Unstable flight / Drifting. | Uncalibrated gyroscope, wind interference, or damaged propellers. | Perform gyroscope calibration (refer to operation manual). Avoid flying in windy conditions. Check and replace damaged propellers. |
| App connection issues / No live feed. | Incorrect Wi-Fi connection, app not updated, or phone settings. | Ensure phone is connected to the drone's Wi-Fi. Restart app and drone. Check phone permissions for the app. |
| Obstacle avoidance not working as expected. | Sensors obstructed or in challenging lighting conditions. | Clean sensors. Note that obstacle avoidance may be less effective in very bright or very dark environments, or with highly reflective surfaces. |
