2. Setup

Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert two CR123A lithium batteries with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
3. Screw the flashlight head back on clockwise until it is finger-tight.

Mounting the Flashlight

1. Identify the appropriate key for your firearm's rail type (Glock-style, Picatinny, Beretta 90two, S&W 99, S&W TSW, Sig P320). The TLR-1 HL comes with a key kit to ensure proper fit.
2. Loosen the rail clamp thumb screw on the flashlight.
3. Align the flashlight's rail clamp with your firearm's accessory rail.
4. Press the flashlight firmly onto the rail, ensuring the key engages with the rail slot.
5. Tighten the thumb screw until the flashlight is securely attached and does not wobble.

3. Operating Instructions

Switch Operation

The TLR-1 HL features an ambidextrous momentary/steady on/off switch located at the rear of the unit.

• Momentary On: Press and hold either side of the toggle switch. The light will remain on as long as the switch is held. Release to turn off.
• Continuous On: Quickly tap either side of the toggle switch and release. The light will remain on until you toggle the switch again.
• Off: From continuous on, quickly tap either side of the toggle switch.

Strobe Function

The TLR-1 HL includes a user-programmable strobe function. This feature can be enabled or disabled based on user preference.

• To Activate Strobe (if enabled): From the OFF position, rapidly double-tap either side of the toggle switch.

4. Maintenance

General Care
