1. Setup and Installation
1.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the washing machine for any signs of damage. Ensure all accessories, including the water supply hose and transport bolts, are present. Important: Before operating the machine, you must remove the transport bolts located at the rear of the appliance. Failure to do so can cause severe vibration and damage.
1.2 Location
Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessively humid environments. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and maintenance.
1.3 Water Connection
Connect the supplied water inlet hose to the cold water tap and the corresponding inlet valve on the back of the washing machine. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
1.4 Drainage
Position the drain hose correctly into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fastened to prevent displacement during operation.
1.5 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage (220-240V, 50Hz). Do not use extension cords or adapters.
1.6 First Use Preparation
Before washing clothes for the first time, run a short wash cycle without any laundry and with a small amount of detergent. This helps to clean the drum and internal components.

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Control Panel Overview
The washing machine features an intuitive control panel with an LED display and touch buttons for easy program selection and setting adjustments.

2.2 Loading Laundry
Open the door and load laundry into the drum. The machine has an 8 kg capacity. Do not overload the machine, as this can affect washing performance and cause damage.

2.3 Detergent and Softener Dispensing
The Bolero DressCode 1500 features an Autodose system, which automatically dispenses the correct amount of detergent and softener for up to 20 washes per load. You can also manually add detergent and softener to the dispenser drawer if preferred.

2.4 Program Selection
Choose from 14 programs designed for various fabric types and washing needs. Rotate the program knob or use the touch controls to select your desired program.

2.5 Adjusting Settings
You can adjust the temperature and spin speed (up to 1400 rpm) for most programs to suit your laundry needs.

2.6 Special Functions
- DelayEnd: Set a delayed end time for your wash cycle, allowing the machine to finish at a more convenient time.
- Anti-Allergy Function: Provides an additional hot water rinse, recommended for sensitive skin, baby clothes, or underwear.
- Stop&Go: Pause the washing machine during operation to add or remove items.
- Half Load: The machine detects the load size and adjusts water and electricity consumption, reducing wash time for smaller loads.
- KidLock: A safety lock feature to prevent children from accidentally changing settings or opening the door during operation.

2.7 Starting a Cycle
After selecting the program and desired options, press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
3. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.
3.1 Cleaning the Drum
The machine features a Pearl Drum with a unique snowflake-shaped texture that facilitates and improves cleaning while protecting garments. Periodically run a drum clean cycle (if available) or a hot wash without laundry to prevent odor and residue buildup.

3.2 Cleaning the Dispenser Drawer
Remove the detergent and softener dispenser drawer and rinse it under warm water to remove any residue. Clean the housing of the drawer with a brush.
3.3 Filter Cleaning
Locate and clean the drain pump filter regularly to prevent blockages and ensure proper drainage. Refer to the specific location in your full product manual.
3.4 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
4. Troubleshooting
