Before first use, ensure the air purifier's filter is unwrapped and correctly installed. The filter is typically located inside the unit, secured by the bottom cover.

To install the filter:
- Carefully turn the air purifier upside down.
- Twist the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the plastic packaging from the HEPA filter.
- Insert the unwrapped filter back into the unit.
- Replace the bottom cover and twist clockwise to secure it.
- Connect the power adapter to the unit and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

2. Operating Instructions
The Jafanda Air Purifier features a user-friendly touch control panel located on the top of the unit.

- On/Off: Touch the power icon to turn the unit on or off.
- Fan Speeds: Cycle through 3 fan speeds (Low, Medium, High) by touching the fan icon. Adjust according to your purification needs.
- Sleep Mode: Activate sleep mode by touching the moon icon. This reduces the fan speed to its lowest setting (22 dB) and dims the display lights for a quiet environment.
- Timer: Set the operating time for 2, 4, or 8 hours using the timer icon. The unit will automatically shut off after the selected duration.
- Ambient Light: The unit features a soft, warm night light at the base. Touch the light bulb icon to cycle through 3 brightness levels or turn it off.
- Child Lock: Touch and hold the lock icon to activate or deactivate the child lock feature, preventing accidental changes to settings.

3. Maintenance
Regular maintenance, especially filter replacement, is crucial for optimal performance and air quality. The unit features a filter replacement indicator light.

When the filter replacement indicator lights up, it's time to change the filter. Jafanda recommends using only official Jafanda filters for best fit and performance.

To replace the filter, follow the same steps as the initial setup (unplug, twist off bottom, remove old filter, insert new unwrapped filter, replace bottom, plug in). After replacing the filter, press and hold the filter reset button on the control panel until the indicator light turns off.
