3.2 Inflation using Built-in Foot Pump

The FUN PAC Sleeping Pad features a built-in foot pump for convenient and rapid inflation.

  1. Locate the inflation valve on the foot pump section of the pad (typically near the foot end).
  2. Open the valve cap. Ensure the inner flap is closed to prevent air from escaping.
  3. Place your foot or hand over the pump area and press down firmly. Lift your foot/hand to allow air to enter the pump chamber. Repeat this action.
  4. Continue pumping until the pad reaches your desired firmness. This typically takes 30-60 seconds.
  5. Once inflated, securely close the valve cap to prevent air leakage.

5. Deflation and Storage

5.1 Deflation

  1. Locate the deflation valve (usually a larger valve, distinct from the inflation valve).
  2. Open the deflation valve completely. Air will rapidly escape from the pad.
  3. To expedite deflation, gently roll or press the pad from the end opposite the valve towards the valve, pushing out any remaining air.

5.2 Folding and Packing

  1. Once deflated, fold the pad lengthwise into thirds or halves, depending on its width.
  2. Starting from the end opposite the valve, tightly roll the pad towards the valve. This helps to expel any residual air and achieve a compact size.
  3. Secure the rolled pad with any integrated straps or bands, then place it back into the provided carry bag.
