Initial Setup
Unpacking

Water Filter Preparation
For optimal water quality and brewer longevity, prepare and install the water filter:
- Soak the water filter cartridge in fresh water for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the cartridge under running water for 60 seconds.
- Insert the prepared water filter cartridge into the filter holder.
- Snap the filter holder into the base of the water reservoir.

Maintenance
Descaling
Descale your brewer every 3 months or when the "DESCALE" indicator light illuminates. Use Keurig Descaling Solution. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling solution for best results.
Water Filter Replacement
Replace the water filter cartridge every 2 months or 60 tank refills. Refer to the water filter instructions for detailed replacement steps. Note: K-Mini brewers do not use water filter handles.
Using Rinse Pods
Use Keurig Rinse Pods weekly or after brewing flavored beverages to reduce flavor carry-over. Insert a rinse pod like a regular K-Cup pod and perform a 10 oz brew. Discard the rinse pod and hot water.

General Cleaning
Regularly wipe down the exterior of the brewer with a damp cloth. The drip tray and water reservoir can be removed and washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
"ADD WATER" Indicator
If the "ADD WATER" light is on, the water reservoir is low. Refill the reservoir with fresh water. Ensure the reservoir is seated correctly.
"DESCALE" Indicator
The "DESCALE" light indicates it's time to descale your brewer. Follow the descaling instructions in the Maintenance section.
No Power
Ensure the brewer is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Check if the outlet is functional by plugging in another appliance.
Coffee Not Brewing
Verify the water reservoir is filled and properly seated. Ensure a K-Cup pod is correctly inserted and the handle is fully lowered. Check for any error messages on the control panel.
