4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Ensure you have a compatible TVI DVR (Digital Video Recorder).
  • Prepare a DC12V power adapter and a BNC video cable (not included).
  • Choose a suitable mounting location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of power and video cables.
  • Verify the camera's functionality by temporarily connecting it to your DVR before permanent installation.

4.2 Mounting the Camera

The camera features a 3-axis mounting bracket for flexible positioning. It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.

  1. Place the camera's mounting base against the desired surface and mark the positions for the screw holes.
  2. Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
  3. Secure the mounting base to the surface using the provided screws.
  4. Adjust the camera's angle using the 3-axis bracket to achieve the optimal viewing area. Tighten the adjustment screws to fix the position.

4.3 Wiring the Camera

Connect the camera to your DVR and power source as follows:

  • Connect one end of the BNC video cable to the camera's video output port.
  • Connect the other end of the BNC video cable to a video input port on your TVI DVR.
  • Connect the DC12V power adapter to the camera's power input port.
  • Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Viewing Live Footage
