Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the SIGMA Buster RL150. The device uses a USB-C port for charging.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the device.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the "Indicators" section for details.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

2. Mounting the Rearlight

The SIGMA Buster RL150 features tool-free mounting using a silicone strap, suitable for seatposts up to 35mm in diameter.

1. Position the rearlight on the back of your bicycle's seatpost.
2. Wrap the silicone strap around the seatpost.
3. Securely hook the strap into the designated slot on the rearlight.
4. Ensure the light is firmly attached and facing directly backward for optimal visibility.

Operating Instructions

The SIGMA Buster RL150 is operated via a single button and offers five distinct light modes, including a brake light function.

Power On/Off

• To turn on: Press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second.
• To turn off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second.

Changing Light Modes

Once the light is on, short press the power button to cycle through the available modes:

• High Mode: Provides maximum luminosity (up to 150 lumens). Run time: up to 4 hours.
• Low Mode: Energy-saving mode (up to 5 lumens). Run time: up to 20 hours.
• Day Flash: High-visibility flashing mode (up to 150 lumens). Run time: up to 6 hours.
• Night Flash: Flashing mode for nighttime (up to 25 lumens). Run time: up to 7 hours.
• Eco Flash: Extended run time flashing mode (up to 5 lumens). Run time: up to 20 hours.

Brake Light Function

The integrated acceleration sensor automatically activates a brighter light output for approximately three seconds when braking, enhancing safety.

Memory Mode

The rearlight features a memory function that recalls the last used light mode when the device is turned back on.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the rearlight regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these may damage the casing or lens.

Water Resistance

The SIGMA Buster RL150 has an International Protection Rating of IPX6, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets. It is suitable for use in rainy conditions but should not be submerged in water.

Storage
