For portable use, simply install the four bottom brackets (if not pre-installed) and place the cooktop on a stable, flat surface. It comes with a plug for convenient plug-and-play operation.

4.2 Built-in Installation

If you prefer a built-in setup to save space, ensure your counter cut-out dimensions match the cooktop's requirements. The cooktop dimensions are approximately 23.62 x 13.78 x 2 inches (L x W x H), and the recommended cut-out size is 22.44 x 12.6 inches.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

5.2 Basic Operation

1. Power On/Off: Touch the ON/OFF button to turn the cooktop on or off.
2. Select Burner: Once powered on, select the desired heating area by touching its corresponding control.
3. Adjust Power/Temperature: Use the "+" (Up) and "-" (Down) buttons to adjust the power level from P1 to P9, or temperature from 176°F to 518°F.
4. Cooking Functions: Press the Function button to cycle through the 8 pre-set cooking functions (melt, simmer, steam, boil, fry, roast, stir fry, fast heat).

The cooktop features a timer that can be set from 1 to 240 minutes. To use the timer:

2. Touch the Timer button.
3. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired cooking time.
4. The cooktop will automatically turn off once the timer expires.

1. With the cooktop on or off, press and hold the Lock button for a few seconds until "LOC" appears on the display.
2. To deactivate, press and hold the Lock button again until "LOC" disappears.
