Setup and Installation
Mounting on Saddle Rail
To install the taillight on your bicycle's saddle rails:
- Attach the saddle rail mount to the underside of your saddle rails using the provided zip ties or rubber bands. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Slide the taillight onto the mount until it clicks into place.
- Verify the light is firmly attached and facing directly backward.

Mounting on Seatpost
To install the taillight on your bicycle's seatpost:
- Attach the seatpost mount to your seatpost using the provided rubber bands. Ensure it is tight and does not slide.
- Slide the taillight onto the mount until it clicks into place.
- Verify the light is firmly attached and facing directly backward.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
Press the power button located on the center of the light to cycle through the different lighting modes:
- Slow Flash: Provides visibility with a gentle flashing pattern. (Up to 30 hours battery life)
- Breathing Flash: A pulsating light effect. (Up to 30 hours battery life)
- Strobe Flash: A rapid flashing pattern for high visibility. (Up to 30 hours battery life)
- Steady Mode: Constant illumination. (Up to 12 hours battery life)
To turn off the light, press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.

Smart Features (Auto On/Off & Brake Sensing)
- Auto On: The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected or when ambient light levels are low.
- Auto Off: If no motion is detected for 30 seconds, the light will automatically turn off to conserve battery.
- Smart Brake Sensing: When the bicycle decelerates, the taillight will automatically brighten to signal braking to others.

Charging
The ROCKBROS Smart Bike Taillight features a built-in 300mAh polymer battery and is USB rechargeable.
- Locate the USB charging port on the taillight.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the taillight and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., laptop, wall charger, power bank).
- The light will indicate charging status (e.g., a red light for charging, green light for fully charged).
- A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the light with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Resistance: The light is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets. However, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods. Ensure the USB port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water resistance.
- Storage: Store the taillight in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for a long period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its health.

Troubleshooting
