5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Ignition System (JETFIRE™ Ignition)
The Napoleon BIB10RTPSS features a JETFIRE™ Ignition System for quick and reliable startup. The ergonomic control knob includes SafetyGlow, which illuminates blue when off and changes to red when the burner is in use, providing a visual safety indicator.

To ignite the burner:
- Ensure the gas supply is open.
- Push in the control knob and turn it counter-clockwise to the HIGH position.
- The JETFIRE™ ignition will spark, igniting the burner. The knob will glow red.
- Once lit, adjust the flame to your desired cooking temperature.
If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the control knob to the OFF position, wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and then repeat the ignition procedure. If repeated attempts fail, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
5.2. Cooking with the Range Burner
This 10-inch drop-in range burner is ideal for preparing side dishes, sauces, or boiling water while your main grill is in use. Place your cookware directly on the cooking grid.
