Designed for versatility, this keyboard offers seamless connectivity across multiple devices using both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless technologies, featuring a slim aluminum design and an eco-friendly rechargeable battery.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup
3.1. Charging the Keyboard
The Rapoo E9800M keyboard features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before initial use, or when the battery indicator suggests low power, connect the keyboard to a USB power source using the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

- Locate the USB-C port on the side of the keyboard.
- Connect one end of the USB-A to USB-C cable to the keyboard and the other end to a USB power adapter or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
3.2. Powering On/Off
To power on the keyboard, slide the power switch (located near the USB-C port) to the "ON" position. Slide it to "OFF" to conserve battery when not in use.
3.3. Connecting to Devices
The E9800M supports multi-mode wireless connectivity: Bluetooth 3.0, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4 GHz via a USB receiver. It can connect to up to 4 devices simultaneously (3 via Bluetooth, 1 via 2.4 GHz) and switch between them.

3.3.1. 2.4 GHz Wireless Connection
- Insert the 2.4 GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Press the Fn + 4 keys simultaneously to select the 2.4 GHz channel. The indicator light above F4 will blink, then remain steady when connected.
- Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
3.3.2. Bluetooth Connection (Channels 1, 2, 3)
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Press and hold Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 for 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode for the desired channel. The corresponding indicator light (above F1, F2, or F3) will blink rapidly.
- On your device (PC, Mac, tablet, smartphone), navigate to Bluetooth settings.
- Search for "Rapoo E9800M" in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain steady for a few seconds, then turn off.
- Repeat these steps for up to two additional Bluetooth devices using the other Bluetooth channels.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Switching Between Connected Devices
To switch between your connected devices, simply press the corresponding Fn + 1, Fn + 2, Fn + 3 (for Bluetooth devices), or Fn + 4 (for 2.4 GHz device) keys. The keyboard will automatically connect to the selected device.

4.2. Windows/Mac Mode Switch
The keyboard features a dedicated switch to optimize key functions for either Windows or Mac operating systems. Locate the "Win/Mac" switch (usually near the Esc key) and slide it to the appropriate position for your operating system.

4.3. Multimedia Shortcut Keys
The top row of function keys (F1-F12) also serves as multimedia shortcut keys. To activate these functions, press the Fn key simultaneously with the desired function key. For example, Fn + F10 might mute audio, depending on the specific key layout and OS configuration.

5.1. Cleaning
- Ensure the keyboard is powered off before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface.
- Avoid excessive moisture and do not spray cleaners directly onto the keyboard.

5.2. Battery Care
- To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently.

6.1. Keyboard Not Responding
- Check Power: Ensure the keyboard is powered on and has sufficient battery charge. Recharge if necessary.
- Check Connection:
- For 2.4 GHz: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port and the keyboard is set to the 2.4 GHz channel (Fn + 4).
- For Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, the keyboard is paired, and the correct Bluetooth channel (Fn + 1/2/3) is selected. Try re-pairing if issues persist.
- Interference: Move the keyboard closer to your device or away from other wireless devices that might cause interference.
- Restart: Try restarting your computer or device.
6.2. Keys Not Registering or Delayed Input
- Battery Level: Low battery can sometimes cause inconsistent key registration. Charge the keyboard fully.
