6.1. Adjusting Slice Thickness (0-13mm)

  • Locate the thickness adjustment dial on the side of the slicer.
  • To make slices thinner, turn the dial counter-clockwise.
  • To make slices thicker, turn the dial clockwise.
  • Adjust the thickness according to your desired result, from 0mm (paper-thin) to 13mm.

6.2. Loading Ingredients

  1. Pull the food pusher back to open the feed inlet.
  2. Place the vegetable or fruit into the large feed inlet. The inlet size is approximately 18.5 cm x 13 cm, allowing for larger items or multiple smaller items.
  3. For long, narrow ingredients (e.g., carrots, cucumbers), the pusher rod can be detached. Unscrew the screw, remove the pusher, and then insert the long ingredient directly into the feed port for continuous slicing.

6.3. Slicing Process

  1. Once the ingredient is loaded and thickness is set, firmly hold the handle.
  2. Turn the handle clockwise to rotate the blade and slice the ingredient.
  3. The sliced pieces will exit from the bottom of the slicer.
  4. Continue turning the handle until all ingredients are sliced.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your slicer. The slicer is designed for easy cleaning.

7.1. General Cleaning

  • After each use, immediately clean the slicer to prevent food residue from drying on the surfaces.
  • The entire slicer body is washable. You can rinse it under running water.
  • Use a soft brush or sponge with mild dish soap to clean all surfaces.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots or mineral buildup.

7.2. Cleaning the Blade Disc

  • For thorough cleaning of the blade, the blade disc can be removed.
  • Carefully locate and remove the clip securing the blade disc.
  • Once the clip is removed, the blade disc can be detached.
  • Wash the blade disc separately with caution due to its sharpness.
  • Rinse and dry completely before reassembling.
  • The slicer is also dishwasher safe for convenience.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Slicer is unstable: Ensure the suction cups are clean and dry. Press down firmly on the slicer to create a strong vacuum seal with the countertop.
  • Slices are uneven: Check that the thickness adjustment dial is set correctly and that the ingredient is properly positioned in the feed inlet. Ensure consistent pressure is applied with the food pusher.
  • Difficulty turning the handle: Ensure no large, hard objects are obstructing the blade. If slicing very hard vegetables, apply steady, firm pressure.
  • Food getting stuck: Ensure the slicer is clean and free of dried food residue. For sticky foods, a light coating of cooking spray on the blade may help, but ensure it is food-safe and cleaned thoroughly afterward.
