Beech Lane Stackable Camper RV Leveler Instruction Manual

Brand: Beech Lane | Model: BL-312 Stackable Camper Leveler

1. Product Overview

The Beech Lane Stackable Camper RV Leveler is designed to simplify the process of leveling your RV, camper, or van. Its patented stackable design offers flexibility, allowing for a gentler leveling curve for typical campsites or additional height when more significant leveling is required. This innovative design eliminates the need for cutting, fitting all dual axle campers.

2. Setup and Installation

The unique design of the Beech Lane leveler provides two primary configurations for achieving optimal leveling:

2.1 Using the 3" Base Segment (Typical Campsites)

For most leveling needs, the 3-inch base segment is sufficient. This segment features a less steep curved ramp, which allows for slower, more precise leveling. This design provides more time to fine-tune your RV's position from the driver's seat, making the process easier and more controlled.

  1. Ensure the top 1-inch stackable segment is removed from the base leveler.
  2. Place the included grip mat on the ground in front of the tire that needs leveling.
  3. Position the 3-inch base leveler segment on top of the grip mat, directly in front of the tire.
  4. Slowly drive your RV or camper onto the leveler until the desired level is achieved. The flatter curve provides ample time for adjustment.

2.2 Adding the 1" Top Stackable Segment (For Up to 4" of Lift)

For those outlier campsites requiring more than 3 inches of lift, the removable 1-inch top segment can be easily added. This provides a total lift of up to 4 inches with a slightly steeper curve.

  1. If starting from scratch, place the grip mat and the 3-inch base segment as described above.
  2. Align the 1-inch top stackable segment precisely on top of the 3-inch base segment. The segments are designed to interlock securely.
  3. Slowly drive your RV or camper onto the combined leveler until the desired level is achieved.

2.3 Dual Axle Compatibility

The 12-inch length of the Beech Lane Stackable Camper RV Leveler is specifically designed to fit all dual axle campers without requiring any cutting. This ensures a hassle-free setup for a wide range of RVs.

3. Operating Instructions

Once the levelers are in place and your RV is at the desired level, ensure the vehicle is stable before unhitching or extending slides. The included chocks should be used to secure the tires once leveled.

  • Always place the leveler on a firm, flat surface.
  • Drive slowly and carefully onto the leveler, monitoring your RV's levelness.
  • Once level, engage your RV's parking brake and place the included wheel chocks firmly against the tires on both sides of the leveler to prevent any movement.
  • The levelers are suitable for campers, RVs, and vans as long as the tire diameter is less than 32 inches.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and continued performance of your Beech Lane Stackable Camper RV Levelers, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Clean the levelers with mild soap and water after each use, especially if they have been exposed to dirt, mud, or harsh chemicals. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the levelers for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Pay close attention to the interlocking mechanisms of the stackable segment.
  • Storage: Store the levelers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.

5. Troubleshooting

While the Beech Lane Stackable Camper RV Levelers are designed for ease of use and durability, here are some common considerations:

  • Difficulty Leveling: Ensure the ground beneath the leveler is as firm and even as possible. Soft ground can cause the leveler to sink, affecting stability and accuracy.
  • Slippage: Always use the included grip mats to prevent the leveler from sliding on smooth or loose surfaces. Ensure the tire is centered on the leveler.
  • Insufficient Lift: If the 3-inch base segment is not enough, remember to utilize the 1-inch stackable segment for additional height.
