Important Note:
When using this Intelligent Flight Battery with the DJI Mini 4 Pro, the drone's propulsion performance and flight time may be reduced. Additionally, the total weight of the DJI Mini 4 Pro with this battery will exceed 249 grams. Always verify local laws and regulations regarding drone weight and operation before flying.
Charging the Battery
The Intelligent Flight Battery should be charged using a compatible DJI charger or charging hub. Always use official DJI charging accessories for optimal performance and safety.
- Connect the charging cable to the battery or charging hub.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet.
- The battery's indicator lights will show the charging status. Refer to your drone's main user manual for detailed indicator light patterns.
It is recommended to fully charge the battery before each flight for maximum flight duration and battery health.
Maintenance and Storage
Proper maintenance and storage are crucial for extending the lifespan of your Intelligent Flight Battery:
- Temperature: Store batteries in a cool, dry place, ideally between 22°C to 28°C (72°F to 82°F). Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Long-Term Storage: For long-term storage (more than 10 days), discharge the battery to 40%-60% of its capacity. This helps prevent over-discharge and prolongs battery life.
- Cleaning: Keep the battery contacts clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them if necessary.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the battery for any signs of damage, swelling, or leakage. Discontinue use immediately if any damage is observed.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Battery not charging | Loose connection, faulty charger, or damaged battery. | Ensure connections are secure. Try a different charger or power outlet. Inspect battery for damage. If damaged, replace the battery. |
| Short flight time | Battery degradation, cold weather, or aggressive flying. | Ensure battery is fully charged. Avoid flying in extremely cold conditions. Fly conservatively. Consider replacing older batteries. |
| Battery not recognized by drone | Improper installation, dirty contacts, or firmware issue. | Reinstall the battery. Clean battery and drone contacts. Ensure drone firmware is up to date. |
