Components
Familiarize yourself with the parts of your Haden Heritage Blender:

Motor Base: The main unit containing the motor and control knob. Features anti-slip feet for stability.

Glass Jar: 56-ounce (1.75L) tempered glass pitcher with measurement markings for precise ingredient addition.

Blade Assembly: Four durable alloy steel blades designed for efficient blending and crushing.

Lid: Secure lid with a removable measuring cup cap for adding ingredients during blending.

Control Knob: Used to select one of the five speed settings or the pulse function.
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the glass jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
- Assemble Blade: Ensure the sealing ring is properly seated on the blade assembly. Screw the blade assembly onto the bottom of the glass jar until secure.
- Place Jar: Place the assembled glass jar onto the motor base. Rotate the jar clockwise until it locks securely into place. The blender will not operate unless the jar is correctly seated due to the safety interlock.
- Position Lid: Place the lid onto the glass jar and press down firmly to ensure a tight seal. Insert the measuring cup cap into the lid opening.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
The Haden Heritage Blender offers 5 speeds and a pulse function for versatile blending.
- Add Ingredients: Place desired ingredients into the glass jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (1.75L / 56 oz). For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, followed by harder ingredients and ice.
- Secure Lid: Ensure the lid is firmly in place and the measuring cup cap is inserted.
- Select Speed: Turn the control knob to the desired speed setting (1-5). Start with a lower speed and gradually increase if needed.
- Pulse Function: For short bursts of power or to crush ice, turn the knob to the 'P' (Pulse) setting and release. Repeat as necessary.
- Blending Time: Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 60 seconds at a time. Allow the motor to rest for at least 1 minute between cycles to prevent overheating.
- Stop Blending: When blending is complete, turn the control knob to the '0' (Off) position. Unplug the blender from the power outlet before removing the jar.
