Setup
1. Attaching the Antenna
Carefully screw the supplied antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector on the top of the transceiver until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
2. Installing the Battery Pack
- Ensure the transceiver is turned off.
- Align the battery pack with the battery compartment on the rear of the transceiver.
- Slide the battery pack into place until it clicks securely.

3. Charging the Battery

Operating the Transceiver
Power On/Off
Press and hold the POWER button (usually located on the top or side) for approximately 1 second to turn the transceiver on or off.
Basic Operation
- Frequency Selection: Use the dial or keypad to enter the desired frequency.
- Mode Selection: Press the MODE button to cycle through available modes (FM, FM-N, DV, etc.).
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the volume knob (typically on top) to adjust the audio output level.
- Transmitting: Press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button on the side of the transceiver to transmit. Release to receive.
D-Star Operation
