The common OEM handle size for compatible doors is 3.5 inches wide x 4.25 inches tall. This lock is suitable for campers, fifth wheels, bumper-pull, horse, and cargo trailers. It is important to verify your door's dimensions and the existing lock hole opening before installation.

Note: This lock is not compatible with Class A or Class C RVs that have a lock hole opening of 5.75 inches x 5.5 inches. It is designed for doors with hinges on the right side.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Unlocking Methods

Your BEETRO RV Door Lock offers three convenient ways to unlock your door:

• Keypad Code: Enter your personalized code on the backlit keypad.
• Wireless Key Fobs: Use the provided remote key fobs for wireless unlocking.
• Mechanical Keys: Utilize the traditional mechanical keys as a backup or primary method.

The BEETRO RV door lock provides three distinct unlocking methods: wireless key fobs, keypad code entry, and mechanical keys.

6.2 Setting a New Keypad Code

The default keypad code is 1234. To set a new code, follow these steps:

1. Press the '8' button and hold it. While holding '8', press the 'Lock' button (padlock icon) until you hear a long beep.
2. Enter the default code '1234' and then press the 'Lock' button.
3. Enter your desired new code (e.g., '5678') and then press the 'Lock' button.
4. Re-enter your desired new code (e.g., '5678') and press the 'Lock' button again. You will hear a long beep confirming the setup is complete.

Important: All steps must be completed within 10 seconds, otherwise the programming mode will shut down. Do not press both '8' and 'Lock' buttons simultaneously at the beginning of the process.

6.3 Using Wireless Key Fobs

The wireless key fobs allow you to lock and unlock your RV door remotely. The maximum effective range is approximately 65 feet (20 meters). Point the key fob towards the lock and press the appropriate button to operate.

Note: Only one key fob can be connected to the lock at a time. The second key fob is provided as a spare.

• Battery Replacement: The lock requires 4 AA batteries. When the low battery alarm sounds, replace all four batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
